Ivosan® is a powerful broad-spectrum antiparasitic injectable combining ivermectin and closantel sodium, designed for the effective control of both internal and external parasites in livestock. Ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone, acts against a wide range of nematodes and ectoparasites by disrupting nerve transmission, leading to paralysis and death of parasites. Closantel, a salicylanilide compound, provides strong flukicidal activity, targeting liver flukes and other trematodes. This dual-action formulation ensures comprehensive parasite control, making Ivosan® an ideal solution for mixed infestations in cattle and sheep, especially under field conditions with high parasite pressure.
